Shrine of The Morrigan - April 2013.
A little something for the dark moon.
Crow Shrine, April 2013.
I’ll have this shrine up a few days more, until the moon moves from Crow to Seed. What started storm-dark on the ides of March now shows a brighter eye to the world. I fly in my dreams - there, the world stands between the pillars of dawn and dusk.
Quartz crystals and tumbled stones, citrine, blue topaz, blue chalcedony, green quartz, kyanite, copper, celestite, blue tiger’s eye.
Working Altar/Lord and Lady Shrines, March 2013
I gave each a bit of a cleaning and a new icon for the equinox. I’m always tweaking my shrines, a little at a time.
Bedside bowl, March 2013
Same bowl, but with a new icon for some work I’m doing. I suppose now it counts as a itty-bitty shrine, as long as I am doing that work.
Wherein the Hob Pretends He is a Smurf.
I had 6 of these last year, although never more than two at once, and all of them were taken from my yard. Since my neighbours are jerks, these two will live inside - my tomte claimed them pretty quick.
Equinox at the Wildwood shrine, March 2013.
Tribe shrine and Sacred Well shrine, March 2013.
A Council of Corvids, March 2013.
What blew in with the New Moon, rather insistently and noisily.
Black tourmaline, obsidian, jet, hypersphene, kyanite, labradorite, blue tiger’s eye, scolescite, abalone shell, copper, quartz crystals.
‘Love and Marriage’ altar/shrine.
I put one of these up every year in the bedroom out of the things that usually live on our handfasting shrine (last year’s is here).
This one makes 15 years. <3
Scattered around are quartz crystal, danburite, kunzite, emerald, red and green garnet, ruby, rose quartz, rhodochrosite, seraphinite, amethyst, and moonstone.
Imbolc 2013 - Bríd is Risen
And every hearth makes welcome…
Hermes shrine, February 2013.
(Oh, the ashes…I’m usually more tidy than that!)
(Edit: The right-side pillar is full of the now-extinct Canadian Penny, the left with glass gems, and they’re topped with dried oranges. They used to be just oranges. My versions of herms, as it were.)
Cailleach Shrine, January 2013.
(It’s -24°C here today. Bríd’s gonna have a run for her money this year, to get out of winter’s grasp.)
