Some recent crafty shenanigans.
The first is the plaque to replace the Elvish one that ended up hanging downstairs. I like this one just as much. This is Irish for ‘Welcome In’, a more informal way of offering hospitality.
The second are some Air/Spring charms I’ve made, for something I’m working on. (Can’t talk about the working, but I can share the charms.) These are polymer clay and acrylic paint. They’re largely in the colours for Air in my tradition of Wicca - yellow, dove grey, and violet. The rabbit is done from a mould of a pewter piece of my grandfather’s, and I was quite pleased with it.
Shrine of The Morrigan - April 2013.
A little something for the dark moon.
Three Realms Altar, March 2013.
These are the colours of March, in my head.
March is also a month of crows, for me. Quartz pillars and crystals, green moss agate, bloodstone, green aventurine, chrysocolla, aquamarine, labradorite, turquoise, and celestite.
I will be adding the Terrible Trio to this space once they are finished.
Bríd’s Cross icon, c. 2008. Sculpey and acrylic paint.
Commissioned work; my own preferences for colour with Bríd tend to be white and red, but green and brown were requested for this piece.
Time for another Tour de Etsy!
Tonight is another full moon, snowy and crisp outside, and we’re also coming up on Imbolc, so this tour sort of reflects that.
Etsy tour stop #1 is this lovely and simple stained glass Bríd’s Cross. I also love the jewelry at Phillip Crow; take the time to poke around.
Brid’s Cross gemstone grid, January 2013.
Constructed with the goal of furthering meditation on, and with, the goddess Bríd.
Clear quartz, fire agate, citrine, copper, sunstone, honey calcite, rainbow moonstone, carnelian, and garnet.
Raven Triskele Matrix
Both the candle and the base pattern feature the fantastic work of David Rankine. (I want make it clear; it’s not my art, I didn’t make it, I don’t own it, and I’m not using it for commercial purposes.) Technically it’s a crow, but I’m more fond of the flying silhouette than his raven image in the same series.
Clear quartz, raw kunzite, raw and polished kyanite, raw black tourmaline, polished obsidian, garnet, labradorite, and blue topaz.

Bilé shrine, Autumnal Equinox 2012.
Tour de Etsy stop #4 is a lovely messenger bag by monkbagsandmore. They have a multitude of designs and colours available.
I tend to prefer messenger bags for purses, because I never know when I’m going to start collecting rocks, plants, and things when I’m out and about. I usually need the space!
Imbolc photos, from Feb. 4th.
Various shrines, from January 2012.
